URPoint Details
The village overlooks the narrow strait of Kyle Akin the name is derived from an early King of Norway who sailed through the narrows in 1263 on his way to Largs. The ruined castle of Moil stands on the shore to the east with a fine view up the waters of Loch Alsh which extends inland towards the mountains of Kintail.
