This 16th century parish church has an apsidal choir rebuilt in 1541.
There is also some fine 16th century window tracery and corbels carved with heraldic devices.
It has had many famous visitors including John Knox who took the first Communion under the Protestant rite in 1556 at Calder House. Other visitors have included David Livingstone, Frederick Chopin and James 'Paraffin' Young.
