URPoint Details
Steep paths lead to the top of Kinver Edge, a dramatic hill that dominates the town. It has 198 acres of heath and woodland.
Halfway up is Holy Austen Rock a hugh sandstone formation with cave-like excavations probably washed out by water over millions of years and probably used as dwellings of vanished tribes.
From the top of the hill a perfect picnic spot with views over four ranges – the Clents, the Cotswolds, the Malverns and the Clees.
