A small town at the head of Loch Leven with scenic roads on both sides of the loch and where to the north the grand Mamore Forest with Binnein Mor rising to 3,700ft.
To the south are the ridges of Aonach Eagach rising to 3,168 and overlooking Glencoe.
The old military road over the ‘Devil’s Staircase’ from Kingshouse rises to 1,745ft.
