URPoint Details
This striking building, splendidly light and spacious within and often used as a concert hall, was built as a Chapel of Ease to St Margaret's. The fine tower is Early English, with a spire added by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1869, but most of the church you see was finished on 1419. Its glories include a superb two-storied south porch, vaulted and richly ornamented angel roof. There are fine fittings and interesting monuments, many commemorating Lynn merchants through the centuries. The chapel is a Grade I listed building
