Kings Norton - Church of St John the Baptist

The Church of St John the Baptist is a rare example of fine 18th century Gothic style architecture, built of brick but encased by limestone. The tall tower was once surmounted by a spire which fell down in 1850. Originally, there was a ring of ten bells but this has now been reduced to eight.
