Henry V was born 16 September 1386 in Monmouth in Wales and was King of England from 1413 until his death at the age of 35 in 1422.
The eldest son of Henry IV, crowned in 1413 and in 1415, crushed a host of French lords and knights at Agincourt. He married in 1420 to Charles VI, King of France's daughter.
When Henry died on 31 August 1422, he had won the entire northern half of France.
