URPoint Details
Although only the churchyard and Fasque House remain from the original village, it is nevertheless worth exploring.
Fasque is a large mansion house which has been the home of the Gladstone family since 1829 which included William who was Prime Minister of Britain four times.
To the west the River Dee is joined by the Dess Burn where the picturesque Slug of Dess Waterfall drops and heading north towards the small Loch of Auchlossan and Lumphanan.
