URPoint Details
An old burgh once well known for its cutlery and still retains a Tolbooth with jougs that can still be seen and a Mercat Cross. To the northeast is Rowallan Castle dating from 1560 with two impressive circular towers and a Renaissance door leading into the forecourt. The grounds are always open.
