Car park toilets and shop. Disabled car park approx. ½ mile from the castle which has limited access for wheelchairs the grassed areas can be soft. The castle can be viewed from the access path.
Called the 'Queen of Highland Castles' this was the stronghold of the Earls of Mar, and headquarters for organising the 1715 Jacobite Rising by the last Mar owner 'Bobbing John'.
