URPoint Details
A tiny village lying in the Strath Ullie which is threaded by the Helmsdale River noted for its fishing. Gold was discovered here in the Kildonan Burn in 1868. There are many prehistoric remains around this area including Leirable Hill to the northwest where ancient stones can be found.
