Kildonan, Loch - Isle of South Uist

Kildonan, Loch  (Loch Chill Donnain) 

A low-lying loch in the machair of South Uist,at the mouth of Glen Kildonan, 6 miles (10 km)  northwest of Lochboisdale. The loch, split in two by a causeway, is known as Upper Loch Kildonan (Gael: LochChill Donnain Uarach) to the north and Loch Kildonan to the south.
