A romantic ruin dating from 1440 was an ancient Campbell stronghold and has spectacular views down Loch Awe.
Based on a square tower built by Colin Campbell of Glenorchy around 1550 and enlarged in 1693 by Ian, Earl of Breadalbane, whose arms are over the gateway with those of his wife.
