A walk down Church Street takes you through all that is the best of the village its lively present, its past and its people.
Kenninghall Palace, part of which still stands west of the village, was once the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk, and it was the palace that Mary Tudor learnt that she had become queen.
St Mary’s parish church with its tower dominates the village skyline. In the church porch is a rider of a riderless horse, believed to be Saxon.
