Guided tours; gift shop; licensed tearoom; café; picnic areas; WC. Kelburn is built around a woodland glen, therefore some of the paths are steep and narrow and are not suitable for wheelchairs or scooters.
The historic home of the Earls of Glasgow built in 1581 and the Norman keep is enclosed. A new mansion (Kelburn House) was added in 1700, followed by a Victorian wing.
It is surrounded by spectacular natural scenery and has breath-taking views over the Firth of Clyde.
There are many activities available including glen walks, riding and one of Scotland’s more unusual attractions – The Secret Forest with fantasy follies and hidden secrets.
