The church of All Saints, (Churches Conservation Trust) may be visited when the House is open.
Though dwarfed by Robert Adam's great house, All Saints is full of interest. Essentially late 13th century, it has a classical east-end from about 1700 and, after a major restoration in 1884-5, the sumptuous Curzon memorial chapel was added in 1906. The furnishing are excellent, but the great feature of the church is the outstanding 700 year sequence of monuments to the Curzon family, which are remarkable in number, quality and the period covered. They include medieval alabaster effigies, and other memorials designed by Adams, Rysbrack and Scheemakers. There is a superb collection of Edwardian stained glass.
