Disabled car park, 100 yds from the abbey, disabled visitors can be set down at door of the abbey all of the visitor centre and part of the church through the cemetery are accessible for wheelchair users. Steps to the herb garden and cloisters restrict access for wheelchair users. Interpretation boards are all at a good height and there is an excellent video commentary for blind and partially sighted visitors who can also enjoy the aromatic plants in the herb garden and can touch the stone display at the west end.

A majestic building founded by David I in 1138. The visitor centre contains the priceless Jedburgh comb and other artefacts found during excavations.
