An extraordinarily important site with a complex of ancient settlements within 3 acres, the oldest is the Bronze Age village of oval huts. Above this there is an Iron Age broch and wheelhouse, and even higher still an entire Viking settlement. On the crest of the mount is a house built around 1600 The displays explain Iron Age life and history of the site.
