Itchen Abbas - Hampshire

A charming little village with an old mill and where the brown trout just waiting to be caught. An old Roman villa was discovered here in the 19^th century. The church was rebuilt in Victorian times and in the churchyard is the grave of John Hughes reputedly the last man hanged for sheep stealing in 1825.
