URPoint Details
The westernmost group of islands in the British Isles, lying 45 miles west of North Uist, and the few inhabitants left the island by 1930.
The island is now an undisturbed sanctuary for thousands of gannets, fulmars and puffins.
The sea cliffs are the highest in the British Isles rising to nearly 1,400ft.
