URPoint Details
Founded 1892, King Edward VII is said to have remarked that the view over Studland towards Poole Harbour and across to the Isle of Wight was one of the finest in his kingdom. There are few who would disagree.
The course abounds with heather and gorse and the clubhouse is particularly interesting, in that it contains fossilised dinosaur footprints and huge ammonites more than 150 million years old.
The 18 hole is 6295 yards, par 70 course. The 9 hole is 4014 yards, par 60 course.
