URPoint Details
The larger of the northernmost islands of the Hebrides and known as Eilean an Fhraoich 'isle of heather' and roughly 100,000 acres of wild and heathery moors, winding fiords and many freshwater lochs teeming with fish.
The coast is mainly rock and cliff with sandy bays and green machair.
