The Irish National Heritage Park is an open-air museum with 14 sites, situated in a magnificent rural setting with winding paths, streams, ponds and wildlife. Along the paths the sites demonstrate how early man, the Celts, Vikings and Normans lived and how Irish society developed.
At the end of the tour there are some fantastic views of the River Slaney and its estuary.
