Sitting in a beautiful setting of mountains and loch is a remote little place on Inverie Bay, an inlet of Outer Loch Nevis. Although not approachable by road it can be reached by boat from Mallaig. To the northeast a path leads through Glen Dulochan, overshadowed by Sgurr Coire na Coinnic rising to 2,612ft and the fine peak of Ladhar Bheinn at 3,343ft The path climbs to over 1,000ft before descending into Glen Barrisdale.
