Inishturk Island, 7 miles off the coast and reached by regular ferry from Roonagh Quay (near Louisburgh) or from Clare Island and Cleggan in County Galway.
It may only be a small island, but it is very attractive with a hilly landscape, excellent beaches and wonderful views.
