St John the Baptist Church, (Churches Conservation Trust)
The towerless church mostly Early English and some of the windows are Perpendicular, with ancient roof beams, Jacobean box pews and an uneven floor are as they were originally. There are traces of medieval wall paintings and a well weathered sculpture of the Virgin and Child with the hand of God reaching down which dates from the 11th century. In the churchyard are some attractively carved Georgian headstones.
