URPoint Details
St Peter’s Church dates from the 14th and 15th century with later additions.
The churchyard has several curious headstones carved in the shape of a head and shoulders and with incised faces and are a fine example of a type peculiar to this part of Kent and Sussex. The oldest of these decipherable is dated 1673.
