Hull Maritime Museum

The former offices of the Port Authority, this imposing triple-domed Victorian building is now a maritime museum. Galleries are devoted to whales and whaling, fishing and trawling, the docks and commercial shipping. The whaling section includes Hulls finest collection of scrimshaw (the art of carving or engraving on whalebone).
