Hulcott is virtually at the end of a lane leading from Bierton. It is a small place, out amid the meadows and close to the upper reaches of the river Thames.
The village cottages are situated beside a pleasing green, as is the 17th century manor house and the church with its heavy beams and weatherboards bell turret.
