In the churchyard is the grave of Benjamin Disraeli, close to the remodelled 1862 Hughenden Manor, once his old home.
The Church of St Michael stands halfway up the drive to Hughendon Manor and contains a memorial erected by Queen Victoria in 1882 in memory of the former Prime Minister.
