The magnificent 13th century Church of St Peter and St Paul still hold Harvest festivals and after the service the congregation go down the hill to the village green for a full traditional breakfast.
The church has a fine west tower and some interesting 15th century wall paintings showing St Christopher, the Seven deadly sins and the Seven Works of Mercy.
A screen bearing scenes of Edmunds martyrdom was made from a fallen oak tree.
