URPoint Details
The church of St Andrew and St Mary dates from the early 13th century. The chancel is 14th century, with a later low pitched oak roof with bosses, the west tower nave and south transept are late 17th century. The interior of this lovely church has some interesting features, one being the Norman font which has vegetables motifs, the Jacobean pulpit has tester copied from Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford. The windows and monuments are worth stopping to have a look at.
