Sir Charles Barry built St Andrew’s Church, (Churches Conservation Trust) in his Italian Renaissance style in 1827 and his son Charles added the chancel, apse and vestries in 1882. In 1925 Randoll Blacking designed many of the furnishings including the pulpit, font, stalls, altar rails and bardacchinos for altar and font.
