Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament, also known as the Palace of Westminster, are home to the House of Commons and the House of Lords and the famous clock tower of Big Ben. The term, Big Ben, actually applies to the bell within the clock tower.

Guided tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays all year and every day during summer opening (usually August - September) For times and dates of entry when Parliament is in session, see website. The clock tower of 'Big Ben does not form part of the tour.
