The Norman Perpendicular Church of All Saints dates from 1396, and is one of the largest parish churches in Bedfordshire. The interior of this lovely church has original wall paintings, superb 15th century brasses to Isobel Conquest and her family, carved stalls and benches, original stained glass and a double hammerbeam chancel roof. Dr Thomas Archer, who preached before James I in 1605 was Rector from 1589 to 1631 and he kept and interesting parish register. Grade I listed church
