A compact village made up of two hamlets namely How End to the south and Chapel End to the north.

Dr Thomas Archer, who preached before James I in 1605 was Rector from 1589 to 1631 and he kept and interesting parish register.

Rectory Lane leads onto Kings Wood an ancient woodland which has been in existence since medieval times. Here carpets of bluebells and woodland flowers spread beneath the trees.

The Chequers opposite the laneway to Lidlington and Millbrook Golf Club is a lovely building. Lots of little farms and cottages set in fantastic countryside and the views are spectacular from this really historic area.
