An attractive village with the Little Ouse forms a northern boundary and then westwards from Redgrave Fen to the Great Ouse and then to the Wash.
The new ‘Angles Way’ passes through the eastern edge of the fen on its way to the coast. Reeds are still cut from the fen and it was a very importance source of roofing material.
All Saint’s church dates back to the 14th century and has a clerestory built of Tudor red brick.
