The Railway Centre and Museum, built in 1842, is an interesting building. George Stephenson\'s first locomotive 'Locomotion No 1' is housed in the Railway Museum. It was on 27 September 1825, that the first locomotive pulled carriages on the world's first passenger railway. There are other engines, wagons, carriages, models and other exhibits.
