Home of the Scottish Crown Jewels, the oldest Royal Regalia in Britain. The Honours of the Kingdom exhibition traces the history of Scotland's Crown Jewels.
Displayed with the Crown Jewels is the Stone of Destiny, returned to Scotland after being removed by Edward I, 700 years in England.
The Stone is the symbol of Scotland's nationhood and was the coronation stone for Scottish kings such as MacBeth and John Baliol before its removal by Edward in 1296.
