URPoint Details
A small town on a hill with delightful black-and-white half-timbered buildings, the modern Hodnet Hall has fine gardens and to the northwest is the picturesque Hawkstone Park.
The Church of St Luke is mainly in the Decorated style with a rare Norman priests door and a chained Nuremberg Bible dated 1479.
The fine tower is octagonal from top to bottom and is the only one like it in the county.
