URPoint Details
One of the most picturesque and historic little towns dating back to AD 925 with a Post Office and a charming village green.
Two of the Georgian houses in this wonderful village are Admiral's House, and Beaconsfield House.
The village was the home of Samuel Lincoln a local weaver whose grandson was Abraham Lincoln.
In the church is a bust of Abraham Lincoln and the village hall is also named after him.
The country side around here is unbelievable, the country lanes are narrow and the buildings are just beautiful.
