URPoint Details
Heydon Hall built in the 1580's is the home of Capt. William Bulwer Long who, with his family have great success in equestrian events.
The beautiful church of St Peter and St Paul stands outside the main gates to the Hall, next to the village green.
A delightful small unspoilt village set amongst beautiful farmland and woods.
One of the highlights of this tiny village is at Christmas when the carollers sing on the village green. The village has a shop and post office and a blacksmith is still in attendance.
Heydon has been used for many film locations such as the cricket match in the 1970 film The Go-Between.
