All Saint's Church rebuilt in 1895 stands on a site some 900 years old with a lovely chestnut trees in the churchyard.
The church is very interesting in that it has eight bells, had a lady organist in the early 18th century and the same organist Charles Bridgeman for 81 years from 1792 to 1873.
There are some lovely 15th century memorials. Samuel Stone was baptised here in 1602, he discovered Hertford (Conn) in 1636.
