A Norman Cathedral dating from 1130, situated on a Saxon site from 676. It contains two national treasures. The Chained Library dates from the 17th century and the Mappa Mundi Exhibition.
The Norman font dates from 1150, the Shrine of St Thomas of Hereford dates from the 14th century.
The Bishop's Chair, Mosaic and statue of St Ethelbert and memorials are just a few of the wonderful interests this cathedral has to offer.
