Henry IV was born 3 April 1367 was King of England and Lord of Ireland (from 1399 to 1413).
Henry was the son of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster the first king of the House of Lancaster. He defeated his cousin Richard II in 1399, and the parliament elected him king.
He died 20 March 1413
