Henry II was born 5 March 1133 and died 6 July 1189
Henry was the son of Geoffrey Plantagenet, Count of Anjou and grandson of Henry I. He became King in 1154. He was married to Eleanor of Aquitane, the most famous woman of the age. They had two sons, Richard the Lionheart and John who became the next two kings.
