URPoint Details
The 12th century church of St Mary has an interesting link with "The Mayflower" and Rhode Island USA. One John Tilley, his wife and daughter were passengers on the ship. In the church is a delightful pewter spoon supposedly a likeness to those carried on the ship. Grade I listed church
