URPoint Details
This is much the larger of the two Hemingford villages and extensive residential thoroughfares extend the built-up area almost to the southern side of St Ives bridge.
The old village centre, however, has great charm with many timber, thatch and brick cottages, 18th century houses and, at the end, the 12th century manor house which dates from Norman times and one of the oldest inhabited houses in this country.
The red-brick former rectory now Hemingford Grey House dates from 1697.
Glebe Cottage is a half-timbered building of 1583.
