URPoint Details
An attractive market town, lying beneath the southern rim of the moors. The road drops down to red roofed houses and around the market square, creeper and wisteria creep up greystone houses and cottages. In the spring the place is especially colourful as the cottages gardens back on to daffodil by a brook flowing down to meet the Rye.
