The Herb Garden has over 60 individual beds of herbs laid out like an old monastery garden, each herb having its own bed to keep it completely separate, and there is a lovely locally made sun dial in the centre.
The Distillery operates in July & August when the harvest is in progress, and it is interesting to watch the ancient process of extracting the tiny drops of lavender oil.
